Baby phone-monitor app for iPhone and iPad

Baby Phone Monitor features live video and/or audio streaming capabilities to allow you to keep an eye on your child while they sleep. You leave one device close to your child to use as a baby monitor and use another device to remotely listen or watch. Specialized features include

1. Automated alerts - Your device will automatically start to flash and make alarm noises if noise is detected from the baby monitor.

2. Works in the background - You can enjoy your device in other ways such as watching your favorite movie, or reading you favorite website, and the app will still function in the background! If your child wakes while the app is in the background the baby monitor will send a loud and easily noticeable notification.

3. Battery Level Alerts - If the baby monitor device starts to run low on battery an alert will sound and you will receive a message alerting you to how much battery is left

4. Multiple viewers - Multiple people can view the baby monitor at once from several types of devices.

5. Multiple Devices - Baby Phone Monitor is supported on all major phone and computer platforms and browsers so you can work, watch TV, or simply read the news with the peace of mind that a baby monitor provides.

6. Encryption - Point to point encryption of all data transmitted to and from your device. Only you have the keys to your data.

Instructions for Use

First you open the baby monitor app. To use the app as a baby monitor you first click on the "child" button. Then to adjust the sound level sensitivity against the background noise level you choose one of the noise sensitivity settings on screen. Then you press continue and go to the next screen. The next screen contains a one time use only code that can be shared with another device with a Baby Phone Monitor app installed. Once this code is shared the other device can watch streams from the device being used as a baby monitor. Then click continue and you will be taken to the baby monitor stream where a live feed of audio and video will be sent to paired devices.

To watch the baby monitor feed first click on the "parent" button. You then are at the device list screen which shows the devices you currently have access to and whether or not they are streaming. If you have a code for another baby monitor device you can enter it here. Once the device is streaming click on the "join button" to start watching your child. The device will then alert you if your child awakens, if the phone loses internet connection, or if the baby monitor device shuts off or is at a critical battery level.
